PET PULSE LIMITED (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the PetPulse mobile application (“App”) and related online services (including the PetPulse web application at petpulseapp.com).

By using PetPulse, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide
  • Account details: name, email address, clinic or practice details (if applicable).
  • Subscription information: Apple App Store purchase identifiers; PetPulse never receives or stores credit-card data.
  • User-generated content: patient records, notes, medical information, photos, or attachments uploaded in-app.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically
  • Usage data: actions within the app, screens viewed, session duration.
  • Device data: device model, operating system, IP address, crash logs, performance metrics.
  • Analytics & telemetry: collected via Firebase Analytics, PostHog, and similar tools to improve app stability and user experience.

2.3 Third-Party Data
  • Apple: subscription and purchase confirmations.
  • Analytics providers: anonymised usage statistics and diagnostics from Firebase / Google Analytics / PostHog or comparable services.


3. How We Use Information
We use personal data to:
  1. Provide, operate, and improve PetPulse features.
  2. Authenticate users and manage subscriptions.
  3. Diagnose performance issues and debug crashes.
  4. Analyse aggregated behaviour to guide product improvements.
  5. Communicate essential updates, service notices, or security alerts.
  6. Fulfil legal, contractual, and compliance obligations.
Our lawful bases for processing personal data are performance of a contract (to provide the App), legitimate interests (to maintain and improve the App), and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Data Storage & Security
  • All data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers located in the European Union.
  • We apply encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, strict access controls, and monitoring.
  • Despite these measures, no system is fully secure; use the service at your own risk.

7. User Content & Ownership
You retain full ownership of your uploaded content.
You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide PetPulse’s functionality.
You are responsible for ensuring you have lawful rights to any data uploaded.


8. Your Rights (GDPR / EEA)
If you are located in the EU / EEA, you have rights to:
  • Access – receive a copy of your data.
  • Rectification – correct inaccurate information.
  • Erasure – delete your account and associated data.
  • Restriction – limit processing in specific cases.
  • Portability – request export of your data.
  • Objection – object to certain processing activities.

9. Data Retention
Data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes stated.
When an account is deleted, personal data is erased or anonymised within a reasonable timeframe, unless longer retention is legally required (e.g., accounting or safety obligations).


10. Children’s Privacy
PetPulse is designed for veterinary professionals and not intended for individuals under 16.
We do not knowingly collect data from children.


11. International Data Transfers
PetPulse primarily stores and processes data in the EU.
If data is transferred outside the EU, we ensure appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
The latest version will always be available within the App and on petpulseapp.com/pages/privacy-policy
Material changes will be communicated by in-app notice or email.
